Shopping

It’s been a crazy few weeks lately. My friend Brenna has been staying with me on the weekends and sometimes during the week and we’ve been having so much fun hanging out and going out. I love living along, but it is also really nice to have someone around frequently to talk to and do things with. Brenna and I get along super well and it’s super easy to hang out and do things.

Work has been crazy busy. Now is the busiest time of the year for property management. Everyone wants to move during the summer because their kids are out of school. Most people that rent out properties usually have their leases expire during the summer because it’s the best time to do a turnover. I’d normally have 5 or less properties for lease each month, but during this season it’s about 30.

Between work and running around with Brenna, I’ve been pretty busy. I thought I was going to spend my summer doing things around the house and getting into better shape, but that hasn’t been happening. I’m not upset about it though, I’ve been having too much fun to care.

I was in such a rut a couple of months ago and now I don’t feel like that anymore. I haven’t been going to the Rusty Spur and I’ve been hanging out in different places and with different people. Brenna also inspires me to be a little more daring with what I wear, so I’m enjoying doing that too.

I love planning new outfits for each weekend. This past Saturday I woke up thinking that I wanted to wear something out completely different that anything I’ve worn before. Brenna and I went shopping and everything just came together. I never would have thought I’d wear cutoff shorts rolled up, but I did it and I liked it.

I had a good weekend. I went to a wedding Friday night and had an awesome time dancing all night. Saturday I spent the day shopping with Brenna, then we went out to Charlie’s to hang out with some friends. Sunday I played around on the computer all day, working on making a new header image for this blog (see the image at the top). I spent a few hours playing dress up and taking pictures. I LOVE playing dress up! Monday I was super lazy. I spent all day on the couch and napping. I really needed and enjoyed that extra day off.

This week I don’t have too much going on yet, but already the week seems like it’s flying by.
