Blue Star
Last night I went to show a property out in Lakeway, it’s one of my lease listings. Lakeway is FAR! OMG! It took me 40 minutes to drive there from my office. The only good thing is that it’s not too far from my apartment. The people that I showed the house too didn’t seem so interested in it though. Luckily for me (sarcasm), I’m showing it again today.
After that, I went home and changed and got ready to go have dinner. I met up with Sam, Jeff, Emily and Leslie at The Blue Star Café for dinner and to celebrate Jeff’s birthday. I really like that place because it’s so cute and the décor is fun, but the food is always different.
I always order the grilled chicken sandwich and the macaroni and cheese. Sometimes the macaroni is creamy and delicious, but the sandwich is dry. Sometimes the sandwich is juicy and delicious, but the macaroni is runny. Last night I got the dry sandwich AND runny macaroni. I had two Pom Secco’s though, so I didn’t care so much about the food.
This morning, as I was driving to work, I was listening to the radio (I’m not going to say what station because they really kind of annoy me and I don’t want to give them ANY free publicity). Flo Rida called in, I guess to chat and promote himself. They asked him about this thing he’s doing on stage now, where he throws money out into the audience, like a couple thousand dollars. He said it was because he knows times are hard and that we’re in a recession. Really? Come on!
He does it because he’s trying to flaunt his success and riches. They also brought up how sometimes instead of throwing money he just pours champagne all over the stage. Which I assumed was because he knows people are thirsty, but he said it was just to celebrate… and that he uses Crystal. He is an arrogant ASS.
I wish we had better radio stations in Austin. This morning show that I listen to isn’t all bad, but the host is annoying and it always telling the other people on the show how dumb they are. Oh and he’s a real music snob too. Anyways… a lot of times they are fighting and arguing on the show and it goes on for my entire drive! People don’t want to start their days listening to these morons fighting on the air!
So I’m going to Mississippi for Easter. I’m SUPER excited! Kristi and I are going to make an Easter basket for the baby, decorate eggs and have an Easter Egg Hunt! It’ll be a very nice relaxing weekend, and I can’t wait!
