Disney!

I’m going to Disney World this weekend! YAYS! Can’t wait! Kristi’s momma is taking Kristi, Res and I as a birthday present for Res. He just turned 2. I’ll be leaving Friday and be back Tuesday evening.

I had a pretty good weekend. Those are usually the only parts of my weeks that are worth writing about, and even then, it’s the same old same old. Hanging out with friends and going to the Rusty Spur. I’m such a creature of habit.

Usually when I walk into the Spur, Pappy sees me walking in and has my drink poured and waiting by the time I get to the bar. He knows to set me up on a tab, so I just grab my drink, say thanks, and walk away. It’s a great quick drinking experience… and usually by the weekend that’s exactly what I need.

I watched “The Secret Life of Bees” this weekend and it was SOOOOO good. I had already read the book, so I knew how things were going to go down, but I still enjoyed it and it was very true to the book. I also watched “Vicki Cristina Barcelona” and that was ok. I watched it with Robert and we both thought it was a little strange. Penelope Cruz plays kind of a psycho in it, and she does a great job.

I still need to do my taxes. I had gone to Liberty Tax to get them started, but those fools wanted to charge me $450 to submit them and that’s just insanity. I’m already going to owe millions of dollars, I’m not going to pay someone $450 on top of that. I’ll figure it out on my own and it should be easier now that I learned what they do.

There’s not much else going on in my world. I’m boring. I need to put more effort in to my blog again and make it fun and entertaining. I will get on that!
