Bananas Foster
Wednesday was our Christmas lunch at work. We went to Green Pastures and did some mingling and drinking before lunch. I was being brave and actually tasting all the appetizers, including the tuna with wasabe, bacon wrapped shrimp, and deviled eggs… all of which I would never normally eat. Ok, I do usually eat deviled eggs, but I scoop all the goo out of them and just eat the egg!
For lunch I decided to be even more brave and so I ordered the crab cakes. Now, normally I don’t eat anything from the sea, but I all about giving things a chance. I’ve had crab cakes before and didn’t hate them, so I thought I’d try them again. They weren’t that great. I tried some of Heather’s lobster salad and it was actually pretty good. However, I think I’m going to stick with my ban on anything from the sea.
For dessert I had the Bananas Foster and it was AWESOME. Although, the best BF I have ever had was from Dave and Busters. I get mad cravings for it, but I never actually make it there to have it. Oooh, maybe that’s what I’ll do this weekend. Anyone up for going to D&B?
