I've really got nothing to say

August 11, 2005

I don’t really have much to say, but I feel like I should update anyway because it’s a habit. Last night I went to dinner with M.Lo and J at Manuel’s north. I had the black bean nachos, but wished I had ordered my usual Pollo en Mole con Queso. I thought I was going to enjoy something different, but I was wrong. Man, do I hate being wrong, and especially when it comes to food.

After dinner I went home and finished my laundry, did some ironing, and tried to watch Alexander. I have a hard time believing Angelina Jolie as Colin Farrell’s mother. She’s less than a year older than him in real life. How’s she going to play his MOTHER in a movie? It’s just not right.

It’s not really even a movie I was wanting to see, but it was in my Netflix queue, so I let it ship. Besides, it has Colin Farrell, Jared Leto, and Jonathan Rhyes-Meyers. That’s a lot of pretty in one movie! I just looked it up on IMDB, and I had no idea that Val Kilmer was King Philip! I knew something about him was familiar, but I couldn’t place it.

I only got through half of it last night, and I can’t decide who’s sexier, Colin or Jared. I think Colin’s blond hair is throwing me off. It really doesn’t work for him. Jonathan Rhye’s-Meyers is completely unattractive (to me) with that long hair.

Tonight I’m going to watch the rest of the movie and all the bonus material… WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Feeling: awake
Hearing: Shelly West – Jose Cuervo

Man, don’t you hate trying something different….and then wishing you had just gotten what you always get? I did that at Abuelo’s the other night (except for the Swirl, THAT ain’t gonna change).
And, salad dressing—-I have like 6 bottles of barely eaten dressing, I keep getting new ones thinking I might miss my NEW FAVORITE, and yet keep going back to Marie’s Blue Cheese. :)
