It's flooding!

Last night I really didn’t do anything interesting. I started my evening off by drinking wine, eating ice cream, relaxing and watching Straight Talk. The movie was pretty good, but it was kind of sick watching James Wood kiss Dolly Parton. Eeuuww…. He is not right for her. I hadn’t realized how old that movie was until I started noticing the really bad fashion. I guess it’s been 13 years that I’ve been wanting to see that movie.

After the movie I started getting really tired and decided that I really didn’t want to go out to Rainbow anymore. So I made some CDs and went to bed early. My thinking was that it’s going to be a nice weekend and I’d rather be awake for the day time hours than the night. I guess that really didn’t work out for me since now it’s like end of the world raining outside.

I’m regretting parking in front of my building instead of my carport because the area where I parked seems to retain water like an ocean. I’ll literally be wading in 6 inch water to my car.

I had planned on maybe cleaning today, but eh… it’s Memorial Weekend? I shouldn’t waste this three day mini-vacation cleaning! So what to do instead? Lounging at the pool would have been nice….
