NEW SHOES
I got up early today… way too early for a Saturday. It’s just wrongness I tell ya… WRONGNESS!
I had to get up early because my mother was coming to get some stuff out of my garage to put into storage. I’m giving up my garage (too much money for it) so I had to clean it out. Ugh! I sent a lot of stuff to storage and I had to find room for the rest in my apartment. I had a bunch of vases out there that I didn’t have room for in my apartment… and still don’t, but I managed to make it fit.
I really need to take a day off from work and just clean out my apartment. I have so much stuff crammed everywhere possible and I really need to start throwing stuff out, or selling it. I could probably make a fortune on eBay selling some of this stuff.
So I took my mom and my little brother to lunch, since they drove all the way up here to get this stuff. We went to El Mercado. I never tire of that place!
After lunch I ended up going shopping with Tomas for shoes. Very odd that this morning I woke up thinking I needed to go buy some black shoes, then hours later he messages me telling me he’s going shoe shopping. WEIRDNESS.
So we went to the drag and looked around, then to South Congress. We both found some shoes at Creatures. Mine are the cutest shoes ever! They are made by CAT… as in Caterpillar, the people that make tractors. They are just adorable. I loves them to pieces. Even better, after I decided I loved them, the salesman (who by the way was the cutest ever) said they were HALF OFF! HALF OFF PEOPLE! How could I not buy them?
Tomas found a pair he liked, which I thought were seriously hideous, but what do I know? Some ladies in the store told him they were cute, and apparently their opinion meant more than mine. RUDENESS.
That’s ok though, because one of us is regretting their purchase right now… and I’ll give you a hint, it ain’t me.
After the shopping, Tomas treated me to lunch at Manuels. Yays! I love the Manuels. The waiter boy was the hotness, like for reals hot. The other waiter was not the hotness. He was gross and had no eyebrows and was wearing a super thin white t-shirt that was entirely too snug. I was massively offended.
We went to the mall after we had lunch. The mall was crazy times busy. Lots of scary people inappropriately dressed were wandering around. Sometimes I think half the population does not have mirrors in their homes. Neither of us bought anything at the mall, but one of us got really excited about some ladies jeans. HAHAHAHAHAH Good times!
After the mall excursion, I dropped sir Tomas off at home and now I’m at home about to have a fierce napping. I just had a glass of Southern Comfort and Coke (mostly Southern) so that should put me out real nice like.
Later on tonight I’ll go to RCC. I’m really excited about wearing my new shoes out. I haven’t figured out what I’m wearing with them yet, but I’m sure it’ll be fun. I do know I’m going to wear my fedora, so I have the top and the bottom of the outfit figured out, I just need the in between.
