Today is going to be a great day!

February 21, 2005

Today HAS to be a good day! First of all, I had a good weekend so I’m already in a good mood. Secondly, it’s a holiday so it will be a slow day. Thirdly, because it’s a holiday, I’m getting paid double time today!

So yesterday I didn’t do much. I stayed in all day and did laundry, watched movies, and made CDs. I watched Surviving Christmas, Bourne Identity, and Bourne Supremacy. Surviving Christmas was HILARIOUS. I really didn’t expect much out of that movie at all. I only rented it because (1) I got to the video store at 9pm the night before and everything good was taken (2) I had a coupon for three 99cents rentals (3) it has Christina Applegate in it.

It far surpassed what I thought it would be. James Gandolfini was funny, Catherin O’Hara was hilarious, Christina Applegate was as great as usual, and Ben Affleck was even pretty damn funny. I was seriously laughing out loud watching it.

Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy were really good as well. I’m glad I watched them back to back. When the first one finished I was so excited to have another to watch, I wasn’t ready for it to end yet. I could have even watched another one! Matt Damon is a very odd choice for an action hero, but he was really good in the movies.

I made a TON of CDs yesterday. Now that I have a stereo in my vehicle that plays MP3s, I decided to make MP3 CDs of all my favorite stuff. I love being able to put a bunch of music on one CD. Like, I had all three Dixie Chicks CDs and six Clay Walker CDs all on one MP3 CD. I have them separated into folders, so when I put the CD in my stereo I just pick which CD I want to enjoy. YAYS! It took THREE CDs to hold all of my Madonna music. Isn’t that INSANE? Anyways, it’s cool that I can put all of my favorite Artist’s CDs onto one MP3 CD and have them with me in my vehicle all the time.

Desperate Housewives was insane last night. SO MUCH DRAMA! I wonder what the Zach boy was up to when he ran off (all awkwardly with his hands in his pockets)! And I KNEW that John’s friend was going to end up with the Van De Kamp boy, I just knew it! As soon as he said he and his buddy fooled around, I knew it was going to be Andrew! HA!

And what the hell is going on with Gabrielle wanting to sell the house? They can’t get rid of her!!!! Oh they better stop that nonsense real quick!

I’m still waiting to find out what Lynette’s husband did. Remember he has the secret that he thinks Lynette would leave him over. Oh, and they need to get back to what’s going on with the police investigating the body they found in the trunk… the one Paul threw in the lake. And they need to bring Eddie back, she’s scandalous!

Today is going to be a great day. Yay for great moods!
