TGIF
Yesterday was not fun. Going back to work after five days off is no picnic. I’m behind on a lot of stuff and I just didn’t even know where to start.
I didn’t work late, but I did work through lunch. I went home at four and I watched TV and downloaded music all night. I’ve downloaded a bunch of good stuff and I can’t wait to go home tonight and burn some CDs.
I’m supposed to go a party tonight, but I don’t want to go. It’s a party “to celebrate the nuptials” of some friends of mine. They aren’t really close friends, and I will only know one other person at this party. It just seems dreadfully boring.
Tomorrow is my brother’s wedding reception. I will have to get up early and go to my parent’s house to help get everything ready. Who has a wedding reception at noon on a Saturday? This will definitely be an interesting event.
Work today will be busy. I have a meeting from 9:30 to 10:15. I already know that it’s going to result in more work for me. My boss always wants me to come up with ways to get this other project I’m working on done faster. I’m already working 11 hours a day, all day, every day, on it. How much more can be done?
Ughhh… I’m ready for this day to be over already. I will not be working late today. I won’t be getting overtime pay anyways, since I was out Monday through Wednesday.
Ok, I must get started now.
